The trail
The best-known loop of the Mullerthal Trail, from Echternach by Consdorf to the hamlet of Mullerthal and back by Berdorf, through the sandstone gorges, narrow clefts and mossy beech woods of Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. It suits two days with a night at Mullerthal, and the rocky passages are slippery in the wet.

Paths change, and the weather decides the day. The line comes from the source named under the map and the heights from a terrain model, so treat the figures as a guide. Check for diversions before you go, take a map, check the forecast, and turn back if it isn't right.
