Global Adventurer has no account, no ads and no tracking. If you lead a group or share your walks, rides and paddles, we would like you to have Pro for free, and your people to have a good reason to try it.

What you get

Pro, free for a year

The day routes, hill lists and summits, Garmin and Strava, and live sharing with a group. It renews each year for as long as at least three people who joined with your code are still subscribed.

A link and a code for your people

Your own link, and a code that gives them a discount on their first year of Pro. It is how we know who to thank.

Your walks, in the app

We will build a collection of your favourite walks, rides or paddles, with your name on it, so your people can follow what you recommend.

A say in what we build

Early builds when there is something worth trying, and a reply from the person who makes the app. Your name goes on this page too, if you would like it to.

What we ask

  • Use it for real. Say only what you found to be true.
  • Post about it when it helps your people. Once to begin with, then when you have something to show: a route, a hill-list badge, a group outing.
  • Say clearly that you were given Pro. In the UK a post you make in return for something counts as advertising, so start it with “Ad” or use the platform’s paid-partnership label. Elsewhere, follow your own country’s rules.
  • No incentives for reviews. Please don’t offer anything for ratings or reviews, and don’t write any yourself on behalf of someone else. Apple doesn’t allow it.

Who it suits

People whose friends and followers already walk, ride or paddle: leaders of walking, riding and paddling clubs and Meetup groups, Scout and Duke of Edinburgh leaders, mountain and paddling guides and coaches, and anyone who shares their outings on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, a blog, a newsletter or a podcast. You do not need a big audience. A small group that trusts you is exactly who we want.

How it works

  1. Tell us about you in the form below.
  2. We write back, usually within a week, with your code and your link.
  3. Use the app and share what you like. Pro is yours from the day you redeem the code.
  4. After a year we look at your code. If at least three of the people who joined with it are still subscribed, your Pro renews for another year.

Questions

Is it paid?
No. The reward is Pro and the extras above, with no cash either way. If you have a very large audience, write to us and tell us what you have in mind.
Do I need an iPhone?
Yes. Global Adventurer is for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. There is no Android version yet.
What if fewer than three people use my code?
Your free year ends when the year does, and we say thank you. You can keep Pro at the normal price or let it go. Nothing else changes.
What do you do with my application?
It arrives as an email, and we read it to reply. We do not keep it on this site, and this page sets no cookies.
Can I stop?
At any time. Tell us and we will stop sending anything.
