The trail
The eastern loop of Luxembourg's Mullerthal Trail, from Echternach along the Sûre on the German border by Rosport to Moersdorf, then back over the farmland plateau by Herborn and down the wooded Girsterbaach valley. It is one of three loops that make up the 112 km trail and suits two days with a night at Moersdorf; the paths can be very muddy after rain.

Paths change, and the weather decides the day. The line comes from the source named under the map and the heights from a terrain model, so treat the figures as a guide. Check for diversions before you go, take a map, check the forecast, and turn back if it isn't right.
