The walk

From the waterfront at Skradin, cross the Krka bridge and take the park's path upstream along the north bank of the river, through scrub above the water, to the landing below Skradinski buk. There the park's one-way circuit of 1,900 m crosses below the falls, passes restored watermills and the remains of the Krka power plant of 1895, and comes back over the cascades and pools on boardwalks. Walk back to Skradin by the same riverside path, or ride the park boat.

It is 11.5 km there and back with 266 m of ascent; allow about 3½ hours. The grade is Moderate: a stony riverside path with short climbs, then boardwalks and steps around the falls. There is little shade on the river path in summer.

Adults pay €20 in April, May and October 2026, €40 from June to September and €7 from November to March. The ticket includes the boat between Skradin and Skradinski buk, which runs from 1 April to 31 October. Swimming at the falls is not allowed and dogs must be on a lead.

Skradin has pay car parks near the waterfront.
