The walk
From the car park on Corndean Lane the walk takes the public footpath south, climbing through fields and woodland to Belas Knap, a Neolithic long barrow with a false entrance and side chambers on the edge of the Cotswolds. It turns west along the Cotswold Way on the scarp, then north across the fields to Postlip Hall Farm and east on footpaths and tracks to come back to Corndean Lane and the car park. The views run over Sudeley and the Vale of Evesham.
It is 7.4 km round with 210 m of ascent; allow about 2½ hours. The grade is Easy: the only steep part is the climb to the barrow.
The climb to the barrow is steep and has stiles and a kissing gate, and the surfaces are uneven. Sheep graze the fields, so English Heritage asks visitors to keep dogs on leads. It does not allow smoking, vaping, barbecues or naked flames at the barrow. The site is free and open during daylight hours.
Parking is limited: English Heritage says it is a lay-by on the Cotswold Way, and OpenStreetMap shows a free car park for four cars on Corndean Lane. The nearest station is Cheltenham Spa, about 10 km away.
