The walk
From the national park's Kwasowo car park on road 102, follow the green path through the beech woods to the park's show enclosure of European bison, then on into Międzyzdroje. Walk through the resort to its pier and east along the beach under the wooded cliffs of the Wolin National Park, then climb through the forest to the Kawcza Góra viewpoint, 61 m, high above the sea, and return through the woods to Kwasowo.
It is 7.4 km with 77 m of ascent; allow about 2 hours. The grade is Easy: gentle paths, a beach walk and one short, steep climb.
Keep to the marked paths and away from the cliff edges and their foot, where earth and trees fall. Dogs are not allowed in the park, and it is open only in daylight. The bison enclosure charges; from October to April it is open from 8:00 to 16:00 and closed on Sundays and Mondays. The park charges for entry to its paths, though not for the designated beaches.
The park's car parks charge seven days a week.
