The walk

From the entrance by the car park and the railway station, the path leads into the rock town among sandstone towers up to about 100 m tall, through narrow passages and beside the stream. It passes the Gothic Gate, a narrow gap in the rocks, and the Small and Big Waterfalls, then climbs steps to the little Adršpach lake hidden among the rocks, where a boat runs in season. Return by the main path to the entrance.

It is 3.9 km there and back with 57 m of ascent; allow about an hour. The grade is Easy: good paths and boardwalks with many steps, narrow in places.

The rock town charges admission: adults 180 CZK online or 230 CZK at the gate from September to November 2026, more in July and August. Parking is limited and must be booked online. The rocks have been a national nature reserve since 1933: dogs must be on a lead, and cycling, fires and smoking are not allowed. Until 31 October 2026 a bridge on the approach road is under repair, with traffic lights.

Adršpach station and the bus stop are a few minutes' walk from the entrance.
