Ski areas and cross-country trail networks in Scotland, England, Norway, Sweden, with the lifts, pistes and trails people have mapped in OpenStreetMap. Nothing here says what is open, how much snow there is or what a pass costs: that is for each area’s own website.

How these areas are made
An area is the pistes, trails and lifts that OpenStreetMap shows close together, kept as one where the people who mapped them drew one outline or one relation round them. The figures are what has been mapped: a lift or a piste missing from the map is missing here. Dry slopes and indoor snow centres are not listed.
In the app
The Global Adventurer app has a winter map layer of prepared cross-country trails, downhill pistes and lifts, and it records cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing. Winter in the app
